Our Mission
At Our Phoenix House, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals in recovery from addiction. Our sober home is dedicated to helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety by offering a structured and nurturing community where they can build the skills and confidence needed to lead fulfilling and productive lives.
We are committed to creating a culture of accountability, respect, and compassion, where residents can develop meaningful connections with one another, as well as with our staff and volunteers. We believe in the importance of education, counseling, and other evidence-based therapies to empower our residents to overcome addiction and achieve their goals.
We strive to be a beacon of hope and inspiration for those seeking recovery, and we are dedicated to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment for individuals from all walks of life. RAISE MONEY TO HELP FIGHT ALCOHOL AND DRUG ADDICTION
There are many great organizations dedicated to helping people fight addiction. Most of them rely solely on donations to operate. My goal is to do what I can to help.
HOW IT WORKS
The idea is to offer my services to individuals who otherwise would not be able to afford it, utilizing my knowledge and 25+ years of experience in Information Technology, at a significantly reduced price. In turn, all proceeds I receive will be donated to local organizations whose sole purpose is to help addicts get clean and stay clean.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?
There isn't one. This is my way of paying it forward. If you have any IT related work that you need done, but can't afford it, contact me. Just tell me what you need and what you can afford. That's it. If I'm able to do the work, I will do it based on your budget. Then, I simply take the proceeds and donate it to local organizations who provide assistance to people suffering from alcohol and drug addiction.
Some of these organizations don't always need my services, so I can't donate my time to them. They do, however, always need money to operate. If you are a charity/non-profit and need IT assistance, contact me for free support.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
If you don't need IT related services, but have a specific skill and would like to help, let me know.
Doctor, lawyer, carpenter, plumber, electrician, chef, or just about anything. There's someone out there that could use your services. If you're willing to do the same as I am, I'll add a description of your services to the What Do You Need page and get you linked up with individuals to help. Your efforts might help save someone you care about.
